Likely the under tray for a covered serving dish or previously lined with a glass or ceramic liner, but the concentric ridges on the inside and beautiful stylized handles create a lovely shape to use as a serving tray! Would look beautiful on a sideboard, or as the centerpiece for a dining table or coffee table. Found in Bayonne, France. Marked on the underside of the handle with “Ecruis” and associated silver plate and pattern marks.
