Antique Bates, Gildea & Walker English “Satsuma Pattern” Covered Vegetable Dish. Glazed earthenware with transfer print pattern, made in October 1882 in Burslem, England. Marked on the underside with mark for Bates, Gildea & Walker, however their partnership ended with Bates leaving in 1881. Also marked with impression for just Gildea & Walker, who continued the business. Marked 10/82 to reflect October of 1882.
Condition: some crazing and patina, consistent with age - adds beautiful character!
