A beautiful blue and white bud vase from the Royal Delft Porcelain company, date stamped to 1994. Created as part of the collection Royal Delft describes as “a cupboard set” (translated ‘kaststel’ in Dutch), which is a matched set of vases intended for display on top of, or in, a wooden cupboard, cabinet or bookcase. The English term ‘garniture’(derived from the French) is also used to mean a cupboard set. A set is usually made up of one covered vase and two beaker vases. Marked on underside with Royal Delft marks and “dn” year mark for 1994.
